Triangle of Deception
The betrayal of the Assyrian Nation
The Assyrian nation was betrayed by those who made promises and never delivered. Russia, France and United Kingdom who occupied the Middle East during World War I &II came to serve their interest, to pillage, conquer and divide the Middle East. The Assyrians, a Christian Nation, defenders of peace in the region long considered the indigenous people of the land, joined the army of the West, fighting against the Ottomans, Persians, Arabs and Kurdish tyranny, being promised by the Western Coalition, an independent safe haven with security measures from the international community. These same three countries that recruited the Assyrian Army promising to help restore their lands, later betrayed them by secretly changing course to side with the enemy. All three countries must now be held accountable for their role in setting into motion the current persecution against the Christians in the Middle East prompted by their withdrawal in 1932
As a direct result of the European coalition’s withdrawal without assigning any security measures after WW II, the Assyrian Christians were left defenseless in the hands of the barbaric tyrants they helped the English and French fight against, suffering severe consequences from the long forgotten betrayal evident to this day. The Western countries made this promise and I paraphrase: “If you align yourself with us and fight, we will help to ensure the Assyrian Christian nation will obtain their occupied territories back and help to establish an independent region” Promised but never delivered.. The Assyrian Christian Nation suffering the current day persecution is none other than the same nation that risked it all to fight alongside the Western Coalition forces during WW I & II. They are now in a far worst situation having been stripped of their voice, marginalized, persecuted and oppressed. Standing with the “so called” allied forces of the West cost the Assyrians what little respect they had from the regional governments, cancel all previous negotiation, ending any future aspirations of ever gaining their lands back. They suffer in the dismal situation they are in today, no defense, no human right, fighting for their existence, all due to their decision to take the side of those who promised to help them form an independent democratic region. These same Western countries that came to the Middle East saying, they found no friends among the hostile Ottomans, Arabs, Kurds and Persians governments but for the Assyrians, who immediately not only befriended them but trusted them. Out of that sincere trust came the ultimate betrayal.

Having been oppressed and mistreated by the Islamist, the Assyrians saw an opportunity to fight alongside the world powers. However, once their self-interest was served, no longer needing the Assyrian Army, the Western Army turned on the Assyrians, siding with the newly formed Arab governments whom they previously had described as “hostile”. No mind to the new internal war that would soon be waged against the Assyrians perpetually viewed as the enemy of the land. The promises made to the small Assyrian ally in return for their loyal allegiance to fight were conveniently brushed off as all three countries (Russia, France and England) deserted and abandoned the Assyrians, overlooking the gallant champions who fought tyranny giving of their lives freely to become a partner with the peace loving world to liberate their beloved Assyrian nation.
(As the C.O. in the field, Colonel Cameron, declared)
“It was the Assyrian force that saved the swamping of our rule in the Arab revolt and it was they who rolled back the Turkish invasion of Iraq in 1922 and 1923 at a time when the Iraqi troops were utterly unfit to take the field themselves”
Awkwardly, once the war was over, the coalition forces went back to Europe being hailed as heroes, being awarded with medals, as the true Assyrian heroes who put their lives and the future of their nation on the line, began to be massacred and slaughtered for siding with the WEST. When the West decided it was time to go home, the Assyrian Army was dismantled and disarmed leaving them exposed and vulnerable unable to defend themselves. The newly formed Islamic nation of Iraq developed a newfound hate for the Assyrians Christians, saw a perfect opportunity to take their revenge and rid themselves of this population they now labeled as traitors, unleashing an endless plan to annihilate all Christians from the Middle East.
FAST FORWARD TO TODAY…
Therefore, the present day persecution of the Christians is nothing more than the continuation of the previously established plan to cleanse the land of all Assyrians for their decision to side with the allied forces that later abandoned them to suffer their current fate. The Assyrians have dwindled almost being wiped out as a result of the ongoing systematic attacks being waged from those who vowed never to forget their treasonous act of siding with the enemy of the west.
I now bring your attention to certain paradoxes. Notice how the same International players involved during World War I and II are the same countries involved in the current International conflict: Russia, France, and United Kingdom adding to them the United States of America all considered the West. Notice the Irony and how the tables have been turned. Historically, the allied forces fought these same Islamic extremist in the Middle East using natives of the land on the front lines as collateral damage. Currently these same players, Turkey, Iran, Iraq, and Syria are on one side and Russia, France, UK and U.S.A are on the other. It is still the East against the West, but now the battle has been brought to the Western shores. They are the SAME militant extremist jihadist the Western Coalition used the Assyrian Army to fight against only to later support them. The Western Coalition forces abandoned their small Ally, the Assyrians and sided with the enemy they initially came to fight against. Upon their withdrawal from the region, they washed their hands clean of any association with no regards to the fate of those who risked their lives against the rulers of their lands. Today the same “hostile” government (Extremist criminal) are now bigger and stronger and the “small ally” (Assyrian Christian) are smaller and weaker. Russia, France and England turned against the Assyrians and denied ever making promises, siding with the Jihadist Army even helping the newly formed Islamic country of Iraq become a member of the League of Nations in 1932. They betrayed and abandoned the innocent siding with the enemy to serve their newfound purpose and call it a victory. Now in hindsight, where is the victory? The Western countries withdrew their mandate from the Middle East forsaking their one and only true supporter in the Middle East (The Assyrians), taking the side of the known hostile enemy the extremist Islamist. The same hostile enemy has now come calling with a mightier weapon in hand. Today, the West cannot call on or depend on the mighty Assyrian Army as it has been broken and beaten. Had they stayed true to their original commitment I think the current battle would have had a much different outcome. If only the West had kept it’s promise to establish a militarily supported Assyrian Independent region, Instead of one Israel, the world would have enjoyed two very strong and capable allies defending freedom and democracy in the Middle East. This is why It’s time for accountability for those who used the gallantry, skill and loyalty of the heroic Assyrian army to their benefit and later left them to an uncertain fate. The extremists have thrived in the Middle East enjoying the support of the politically correct world, as the true defenders of peace have declined.
The Assyrians have in fact suffered greatly since WW I & II, but they are not destroyed. The Assyrians continue to survive despite the abandonment of the world. They are a nation of survivors. As for the generation of those who committed this offense against the Assyrians and in turn the world, have most likely passed away, leaving the current generation wondering and trying to comprehend where did this adversary whose sole motive is to kill and destroy, come from. My suggestion, specifically Russia, France and England, READ YOUR HISTORY. Read your history during World War I and II to learn what your predecessors did and why? An entire nation who gave their allegiance to you to fight against these same extremist, were betrayed, left defenseless to be butchered by those clearly recognized as hostile allowing them to grow into this massive movement of aggression against the west. Stop wondering and start reading your history.
